First idea

Back in 2001, as an Iranian self-payer MSc student in Wageningen University of the Netherlands it was not very easy for me and my family to afford the studying and living expenses. Since that time I have been always thinking off establishing a foundation to provide financial fellowships (as a prize) for the poor but highly talented Iranian students, particularly those coming form rural-abundant regions of that large country. This prize will be granted to one (and hopefully in the future more) Iranian (and again hopefully we can extend it an international scope) student with the mentioned characteristics as it will be declared by a supervisory group of experts. The financial sources of this prize will be those people who want to donate their resources to enhance the education and research level of Iranian students and to assist them to build a brilliant future for themselves and for their country. This prize is dedicated to Mrs. Parvin Dowlatabadi one of greatest Iranian woman and one of the first children’s poets in Iran and called “Parvin Prize”.
